How to Play Call of Duty Mobile (Garena Version or Global Version) on GameLoop TAC Emulator – Full 2026 MAY Guide for Garena/Global Users

We’ve all seen the headlines: a brand-new mode is coming to Call of Duty Mobile, but the January 2026 update never dropped. Still, millions of players continue enjoying CODM every day — many of them running the game smoothly on PC through GameLoop. However there a bad news! After new season dropped, Gameloop is no longer playable.

At first, the official GameLoop chinese team announced a two-week break in February for the Lunar New Year. Then they quickly retracted that statement, explaining that system requirements had increased after the introduction of DMZ mode. Since then, the only response from support has been: “We’re working hard on the update, but we can’t give a firm ETA.”
Good news: There is a reliable way to play right now using the new TAC (Tenstore Android Connect) build of GameLoop — the Intel-powered version that’s been quietly rebranded under the GameLoop name - a new version of gameloop using advance modern software.
However, Garena users face an extra hurdle. The official GameLoopHub blog shares a solid guide for the global version, but it doesn’t fully cover the Garena-specific tweaks (and their beta Garena tweak tool is still unconfirmed on Discord).
In this updated guide, I’ll walk you through every step — with the exact adjustments Garena players need — so you can get into the lobby without crashes or compatibility headaches. If you are global user, this step is still valid for you. What Is Tenstore Android Connect (TAC)?Tencent quietly rolled out “Tenstore Android Connect” under the GameLoop branding. It’s essentially a refreshed version of an emulator Chinese players have used for years, now dressed up with GameLoop’s interface, language support, and some feature limitations.
In my testing, it runs CODM very well, but keymapping remains the biggest pain point. As always, playing COD Mobile on any emulator carries a ban risk depending on the game’s current anti-cheat behavior. Use at your own responsibility.
Pro tip: Some people grab unofficial builds for easier APK installation. For safety and stability, this guide uses only the official Arena Breakout version available on the GameLoop website.Important Notes Before You Begin
  • Download the installer only from the official GameLoop site or its CDN.
  • Emulator play can lead to bans — you accept that risk.
  • This method works by launching Google Play Store and CODM through special Windows shortcuts that call GameLoopLauncher with package parameters.
  • Game will crash frequently on HDD. Upgrade to an SSD if you haven’t already — it’s the single biggest stability fix.
What You’ll Need
  • Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • Administrator rights (highly recommended)
  • Virtualization enabled in BIOS/UEFI
  • Stable internet connection
  • A Google account (for Play Store login)
  • A PC or Laptop with SSD [Assumed you understand this required a graphic card higher or equavilent on your device to run the game]
Step-by-Step: Install & Launch CODM on GameLoop TACStep 1: Download the Official Arena Breakout Build
Head to gameloop.com and download the Arena Breakout version of GameLoop.

Step 2: Install GameLoop
Run the installer.
Choose your language and install location, then proceed.
If prompted to enable Hyper-V, allow it and restart your PC. After reboot, run the installer again if it doesn’t resume automatically.

Step 3: First Launch
A GameLoop window will open and begin downloading Arena Breakout files.
You can close it immediately if you only want CODM, or let it finish — your choice.

Step 4: Create a Desktop Shortcut for Google Play Store
The built-in app market is disabled in this build, but Google Play Store is still installed. We’ll access it with a shortcut.
  1. Right-click an empty spot on your desktop → New → Shortcut.
  2. Paste this command (replace the path only if your GameLoop install location is different): "C:\Program Files\Tencent\GameLoop\Application\GameLoopLauncher.exe" --from "4" --launch-pkg-name "com.android.vending" --launch-proc-name "GameLoopEmulator.exe"
  3. Name it “Play Store” and click Finish.

Step 5: Install Call of Duty Mobile (Do NOT launch yet)
Double-click the Play Store shortcut → sign in with your Google account.
Search for Call of Duty Mobile and install it.
Close Play Store once installation is complete.

Step 6: Create the Garena-Specific CODM Launch Shortcut
This is the critical step that most guides (including the original GameLoopHub) skip for Garena users.
  1. Right-click desktop → New → Shortcut.
  2. Paste this exact command (again, update the path if needed): "C:\Program Files\Tencent\GameLoop\Application\GameLoopLauncher.exe" --from "2" --launch-pkg-name "com.garena.game.codm" --launch-proc-name "GameLoopEmulator.exe"
  3. (Note: The global version uses com.activision.callofduty.shooter. Use this if you are player from global. Using the wrong package name is why some installs crash on launch.) This method also work for other version like VNG region etc [result may vary]
  4. Name it “COD Mobile Garena” and click Finish.
You can now launch the game directly from this shortcut.
Step 7: Optional – Tweak Emulator Settings
Open GameLoop settings and test these starting points:
  • Render mode: Choose the most stable option for your GPU.
  • Resolution: Start lower for stability, then raise it once everything runs smoothly.
  • Lower resolution first if you notice stutters.
Final Setup: Keymapping & Garena/Global Optimization
  1. Go to the gameloophub official tool: https://gameloophub.com/tools/cod-mobile-smart-tool/
Download and install CODM Smart Tool safely on Windows.
  2. Open the tool, select your Garena version/Global/VNG, Click Apply KeyMapping and boost game then, and launch the game through it. Log in to the main CODM lobby.
  3. Next step is, you have to Download the optimized keymap (google drive) files here:
    https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1dht2dG_Z0H574XEGSUR8fNmmlxrNjRDN
These files work for both Garena and Global versions.
  4. Extract the files and import them into GameLoop TAC’s keymapping section.

Very Important Final Step
Uninstall / completely remove the CODM Smart Tool developed by GameloopHUB after you’ve imported the optimized keymap (google drive) to gameloop TAC.

Why? The smart tool only needs to run once to create the necessary cache program files. Leaving it installed can overwrite or corrupt your custom keymap later. Removing it ensures the keymapping stays permanent and stable. I’ve tested this on both HDD and SSD setups — it works perfectly.Final Tips for Best Experience
  • Pin your new keymap to the top of the list and activate it every time you launch.
  • Use CTRL to toggle the mouse cursor on/off.
  • Use F1 to toggle show keyboard keymapping on the screen
  • If you’re still on an HDD, expect more crashes — an SSD upgrade is the only real fix.
  • The keymapping remains intact across restarts as long as you don’t reinstall the Smart Tool or reset the emulator.
That’s it! You should now be running Call of Duty Mobile (Garena) or (global version) smoothly on the latest GameLoop TAC emulator.

Will I Get Banned?
Playing Call of Duty Mobile on any emulator other than the official one can result in a permanent ban to your account. This includes using cheats, hacks, or making fraudulent transactions from non-official stores.
That said, the GameLoop TAC build has a pretty low chance of getting you banned. However there is always some risk when using this unofficial global release of CODM on TAC, but I have high confidence in its safety [Its means I take the risk and if its goes south - then south it is. But I cant live without playing CODM].
What is my assurance? The biggest reason is the clear in-game icon that appears when you launch the game on gameloop or gameloop TAC. It clearly shows the system that you are using an external device (emulator or controller). Because of this icon, the matchmaking system automatically pairs you only with other players who are also using external controllers or emulators.
Even if a mobile player invites you to a match, they will be matched with emulator or controller users — the game detects you as an external-device player and handles the pairing accordingly. HOWEVER YOU MUST UNDERSTAND that other emulator like Bluestack/ LD Player etc is considered as hack since it will pair you with mobile players. So avoid using those if you care about your hard work and progress in your account.
VERY IMPORTANT!If you planning to install PUBGM on the same Tenstore and want to use PUBGM smart tool to set up keymapping for PUBGM developed by gameloophub, forget it. By doing so it will ruin CODM keymapping. YOU CAN INSTALL any app on Tenstore connect BUT NEVER INSTALL ANY SMART TOOL DEVELOPED BY GAMELOOPHUB. When the keymapping ruined, you need to redo again this step.
Final Setup: Keymapping & Garena/Global Optimization

  2. Open the tool, select your Garena version/Global/VNG, Click Apply KeyMapping and boost game then, and launch the game through it. Log in to the main CODM lobby.

If these tips are helpful, please make sure to share them with other gamers who have been left behind for a few seasons, so that they can start warming up, grinding, and smashing the lobby. Hoorah!

Enjoy the new season and the new mode — see you in the lobby! Last updated: May 19, 202611:25 KST
